Packaging shall be level A or

mental conditions and commercial modes of transportation.
Packing. Packing shall be level A or minimum

protection as specified (see 6.2f).
Level A. Fifty beaded handles, packaged as

specified in 5.1, shall be packed in a fiberboard shipping
container. except that the fiberboard container shall be
weather-resistant class, variety SW, grade V3C and V3S. In
addition, each container shall be reinforced with flat steel
strapping or tape banding in accordance with the appendix to
PPP-B-636.
Minimum protection. The packaged beaded handles

shall be packed in a manner that will insure safe transportation at
the lowest rate to the point of delivery, Containers shall conform
to the minimum requirements of the rules and regulations applicable
to the mode of transportation selected.
Marking. Unit and shipping containers shall be

marked in accordance with the requirements of MIL-STD-129.

life support equipment by personnel forced down at sea.
